From the Japanese field,to the next industrial shift.
We supply training data for physical AI, recorded at working sites in Japan. For each project we source the site, settle the rights, and record.

PROMISE
We source a site in Japan for the specification in front of us, settle the rights in writing, and record the work. That is what Chuo-Sogo does.
The model is ready. The field data is not.
01
Real-world data decides real-world accuracy
Simulation and public datasets take a policy only so far once it has to handle an actual task. What a model can do on site is shaped by data captured on site.
02
Public datasets do not differentiate
When every team can train on the same corpus, it is hard to build an edge on it. The advantage has moved to data that only your team can reach.
03
Opening a site is not work for a model team
Agreement to film, rights clearance, trust with the people doing the work. The step before collection is a different kind of work from model development, and it consumes a different kind of time.
What we deliver
We design and collect against a written data specification, and we capture the reasoning behind each action, which video on its own cannot teach.
PHYSICAL AI TRAINING DATAEGOCENTRIC VIDEO
Egocentric video
Head-mounted capture of a skilled worker: gaze, hands, and tool handling. The scene as the operator sees it, which is what an imitation learning policy has to reproduce.
TACIT KNOWLEDGE
Tacit knowledge, written down
Why the worker stopped at that point, and what they looked at before deciding. We interview the operator, turn intent and judgment criteria into annotations, and deliver them aligned to the video timeline.
CUSTOM COLLECTION
Collection built to your spec
Camera layout, resolution, frame rate, synchronization, metadata. We design the capture around your model and training pipeline and fix it in a written specification.
Why Chuo-Sogo
We are not a company that sits inside one industry. Our model is to open a site in Japan for the specification in front of us, put the rights in order, and run collection as one process.
01
The site is sourced for each project
Rather than shaping data around whatever site is at hand, we start by finding where the work you need is actually done and negotiating access. Scope is not narrowed to the relationships we already have.
02
Rights are settled in writing before recording
We sign a written agreement with the host company covering filming and data use, and we obtain consent from each worker for their likeness and for the scope of use. Data with unclear rights cannot be used for training.
03
The design works backwards from your model
Camera layout, annotation granularity, and delivery format are fixed in a data specification before collection begins. We record a small sample first so you can inspect the content, then move to full collection once it is agreed.
We are not limited to one industry.
Our current focus is industrial and infrastructure work, but collection is not confined to it. For each project we source a site in Japan where the work you need is actually performed.
FOCUS
Industrial and infrastructure
The area we are focused on first
Construction and building services
Retail and hospitality
Household and domestic work
Agriculture
The areas listed here are the domains around which we can build a collection on request. They do not indicate sites that Chuo-Sogo holds today.
A site that has agreed to filming
A factory producing steel water pipes and formed fittings has agreed to filming of manual welding and gouging. We are preparing a sample collection there.
